April 10^th, 2024:  Friends, Debbie Privette, Brenda Avant, and Jeanette Hammond, hosted a book reading/signing at The Creative Cup in Zebulon, NC to introduce the newly published author to the community – especially since some of the stories in her book, “Bacon and Eggs and Other Tale”, took place in Zebulon and the surrounding community. WRAL News showed up to interview the new author. Attendees sipped their favorite brew and listened as Linda read selected stories from her book. Books were available for sale. Some folks brought their own copies to be signed by the author. The Creative Cup still carries copies of Linda’s book in their store. If you visit Zebulon, stop by for one of their delicious brews (hot or cold) and a delectable pastry. You can grab a copy of Linda’s book – if they’re not sold out! 

May 14^th, 2024:   Maureen Morrell hosted a tea in her Raleigh home to celebrate the publishing of Linda’s first book, “Bacon and Eggs and Other Tales”. Linda’s biological family as well as her “autism family” gathered to listen as she read selected stories from her book. A champagne toast was offered by the gracious host to honor the new author.
