I took a break from my weekly blogging for the past few months as I have been working on a couple of projects that have kept me busy. (Stay tuned to find out what they are – well, that is if you’re interested.) At any rate, during that break I was swamped by faithful readers desperate to hear from me……….Well…….Okay, that is NOT quite true. LOL
The fact is that I had ONE faithful reader – bless her sweet heart – to contact me and ask why I had stopped posting my weekly blog. (Thank you, Robin.) Now you may think that I am heartbroken or even a little sad about that. But I am happy (and pleasantly surprised) to report that is not the case.
Writers, of course, yearn to be read. And all of us want approval – even if we say we don’t. But, here’s what I discovered: I like to write whether or not anyone reads what I’ve written – or whether or not they approve of my stuff. And that was a lovely discovery.
So, here’s to my new year and yours. May we all discover a bit of wonder in every single day.
Sending love to all my readers – especially Robin
Linda
Hello, I’m with you, I lovee comments or likes from other bloggers but If no one was reading my stuff I would still be writing and blogging. The best of everything for you and your family throughout the 2024 year. Best regards, Eileen

Breaks are good and necessary in writing for the long haul, or so I have found. I’m glad that it was not a conclusion, but just a break. As you know, I took one also.
I hope that Christmas in Zebulon was good!
Love, Celia

I’ve missed your blogs but things were hectic the few months before Christmas & I wasn’t able to read even the other blogs I routinely follow in any kind of timely manner. Glad you’re back & have a HAPPY NEW YEAR. Thanks for your kind response to my Dec. blog …
the OTHER L, too … (LOL)

You were missed. Those of us who like to read like to have those who write, write. So looking forward to reading more of you.
